The
BEAC® Board is entrusted with the responsibility to:
Assess and evaluate each applicant's credentials and training, test the
competencies of environmental auditors, and operate certification programs
to promote high standards of professional competence among environmental,
health and safety auditors.
Benefit and protect the public through certification of environmental,
health and safety auditors to give consumers of environmental, health
and safety auditing services assurance of auditor competencies.
Promote high ethical standards in the practice and profession of environmental,
health and safety auditing, and through interaction with international,
national, and local professional and governing bodies, the environmental
community, and the public
Issue certifications relating to professional competencies in the field
of environmental, health and auditing, including related scientific fields.
