F. Marketing Committee - Standing Committee

Bylaws, Article VI, Section 2: The Marketing Committee shall develop ongoing programs to educate and encourage professional environmental, health and safety auditors to seek and retain certification status. The Marketing Committee will also, on occassion, work in partnership with The Institute of Internal Auditors and the Auditing Roundtable in mutually beneficial joint promotions.

General

  • Mission: To develop and execute strategies to educate and encourage environmental, health and safety auditors to seek and retain BEAC certification. The Program Director will serve as the chair of the Marketing Committee
  • Structure: The Committee is comprised of Certified Professional Environmental Auditors (CPEAs). Non-CPEAs may be appointed to the Committee with approval of the BEAC Chair.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Marketing:
      • Develop, review and monitor marketing efforts and programs.
      • Identify and recommend potential services and benefits to promote auditors seeking certification and retention of individuals having certification status.
    • Certification Membership Goals:
      • Establish goals for the growth and retention of BEAC certification
      • Identify and recommend potential services and benefits to promote auditors seeking certification and retention of individuals having certification status
      • Provide information to affiliates and certification membership
    • Communications: Enhance the communications process to potential environmental, health and safety auditors to promote the development of BEAC.
    • Partnerships: The BEAC Marketing Committee will, when applicable, work in partnership with both The Institute of Internal Auditors and the Auditing Roundtable in mutual promotion to enhance the profession of environmental, health and safety auditing, certification, and in recognition of each organization.
